Valentine’s Day Party Planning Time

January 8th, 2010

Can you believe Valentine’s Day is almost here already? I think it always creeps up on me because it’s only a little over a month from the holidays. valentines day treats

If you’re planning a children’s Valentine’s day party here are a few ideas to get you started:

  • Gather up some old shoe boxes, scrap construction paper, tissue paper, stickers, glue and scissors, then divide the children into teams to see who can make the best Valentine’s day box. If you only have a few children at the party, you can let each child decorate their own box.
  • You can also let let the children make Valentines for each other with card stock and markers, or crayons.
  • Serve ups some easy Valentine’s day cupcakes.
  • Or dip some pretzels in white chocolate and add some pink heart sprinkles for a fun chocolate covered Valentine pretzel treat.
  • Here are 40 more fun homemade Valentine’s day treats.

Just have fun with it, and let the kids have fun!
